Sue Nipperess

Village Manager

Sue is our Village Manager, and loves, and takes a great deal of pride in her role at Palmview taking care of the Village. Sue very much enjoys the opportunities to mix with the Residents especially the Monthly Morning Teas, which usually includes a guest speaker with lots of valuable information. Born in Brisbane Sue and her Family moved to Mackay in December 2003 and after having a couple of other jobs started at Palmview in January 2007 where she did the accounts role until March 2019.  In her spare time Sue likes to play squash, read and listen to music.

Tania Gibbons

Sales Co-Ordinator

Tania has carried on from working in local real estate for many years to be our exclusive Sales Co-ordinator catering to the needs of prospective residents, matching them with their ideal Palmview home and assisting them with the transition to village life with a great deal of care and understanding. Tania commenced her job at Palmview in July 2012 and finds her role very rewarding.  Like the other Team members Tania’s role is not limited to Sales. She enjoys helping out with the various morning teas and functions we hold at the Village.

Christine Forrest

Accounts

Christine is our newest team member at Palmview starting in February 2019.  Born in Gladstone, Christine has lived in a few different places before settling in Mackay. Bringing years of experience, Christine has fitted in extremely well to her role, which is not limited to looking after the accounts. She enjoys interacting with the Residents at functions and getting to know who they are. In her spare time Christine loves to garden and spend time with her Family.

Lebbie Woods

Administration

Lebbie in her role as Receptionist and Maintenance Co-ordinator is generally the first point of contact in the office at Palmview. Lebbie was born and raised in Mackay and commenced work at Palmview in July 2008.  She is a very caring person and really enjoys working with the other staff members. and the interaction with the Residents and especially the enjoyment on their faces at the many functions that she works so hard to organise for them. On her days off Lebbie enjoys spending time with her Family.

Neil Tudehope

Neil has been at Palmview Village since June 2014. Neil is the Maintenance Officer for the Village and has fit in beautifully with the operations and systems at Palmview. His jovial and friendly nature is appreciated by all. Neil has become very popular and trusted with the Residents and they feel very safe having him in their homes. He never complains when asked to assist at our morning teas including our 2017 Talent Show where he played in our Abba Revival Group. Neil loves sport, mainly as a spectator these days and spending time with his wife Julie and family.

Feliciana Staas

Feliciana is a long-term gardener at the Village starting in October 2007.  Feliciana is always cheery and shares her cheeky smile with Residents, Staff and Visitors alike. Very hard working and appreciated by the Residents Feliciana loves working at the Village and being part of our Team. She enjoys fishing, especially with her grandson and spending time with her other family in Mackay.

Caleb Roberts

Caleb started at Palmview in March 2017 and brings a wealth of experience in turf management, conservation and horticulture.  Caleb likes making a difference with the Village and spends time outside of work researching on what can be improved on with our current gardens.  Nothing is too much trouble and he is always happy to help where needed. In his spare time Caleb enjoys playing chess and reading about Science and History.
